All of our team members are experienced specialists in the field of vascular care, with a focus on advising on and treating venous conditions. They are experts in their field and provide our patients with the confidence and trust that comes with their years of expertise.
David Ormesher
Medical DirectorDavid is a consultant vascular surgeon based at the East Lancashire Healthcare Trust. He covers the whole spectrum of venous and arterial disease in his NHS practice and has a weekly operating list treating patients with varicose veins.
He is a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons England, a member of The Royal Society of Medicine Venous Forum and a member of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland
Yao Pey Yong
Consultant Vascular SurgeonMr Yao Pey Yong is a consultant vascular surgeon based at the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. His practice covers the whole spectrum of vascular diseases, including both arterial and venous work. Within his NHS practice, he has a weekly operating list treating patients with varicose veins.
He graduated from the University of Glasgow and subsequently spent 3 years undertaking a Masters degree in vascular research in East Midlands before obtaining his higher surgical training in the Yorkshire and Humber deanery.
Georgie Maughan
Lead NurseGeorgie is a registered nurse with specialist knowledge and experience of vascular surgery.
She graduated in 2016 from The University of Salford and took a post working in the operating theatres where she later became a team leader.
Georgie has experience in both the NHS and private sector and has a keen interest in teaching and leadership, with a passion for patient-centred care.
